Beam Expander

Beam Expander

Product Name

Beam Expander

Purpose of Use

  • The Beam Expander is used when a test piece is bigger than the aperture of the interferometer.
  • When measuring a large aperture test piece, the Beam Expander expands the laser beam aperture.

Specifications, Features, and Benefits

  • It is possible to measure entire surface by one sheet of interferogram when the flatness measurement with a large aperture occurs.
  • There are three types of Beam Expanders, and each of them are possible to expand measurement beam aperture of Ø100 to 8 inches (approx.200mm), 10 inches (approx.250mm), and 12 inches (approx.300mm).
  • When the condition becomes a large aperture, measurement will become very difficult on attachment of a phase shift mechanism, the turbulence of air, and the problem of vibration, but by using our product of an instantaneous phase shift, Fizeau interferometer Intellium™H2000, more stabilized measurement is possible and expands applied ranges.
  • A compact design. Possible to install in conserved spaces.
  • Vertical or Horizontal Installation
  • Outstanding cost performance
  • We also prepare references.
  • We consult larger aperture at customers' requests.
